Auguste Arthur "A. A." Bondy (formerly known as Scott Bondy) is a folk/rock singer and songwriter. He was the frontman for the well-regarded rock trio Verbena from his high school days until 2003. Since that group broke up, he has released one solo album with a folkier sound, and a second is due in Spring 2009.
The first, American Hearts, was recorded with two microphones in a barn next to his house in Palenville, New York. During live performances his wife, Clare Felice (sister of the Felice Brothers), often accompanies him on organ.
