Sursum Corda is a 16-member chamber choir directed by Lester Seigel and specializing in sacred music. It was founded in December 2006 as an outgrowth of the choral programs at Temple Emanu-El, Canterbury United Methodist Church and Birmingham-Southern College. The name of the group means "lift up your hearts" in Latin.
The choir is registered as a non-profit organization affiliated with Chorus America. The group performed at the 2009 City Stages.
