James Williams, Jr (born January 13, 1970) is a radio announcer and candidate for District 9 in the 2009 Birmingham City Council election.
Williams is a graduate of West End High School and is studying political science and pre-law at Lawson State Community College. He is an on-air personality on Kiss FM (FM 98.7). As a 2009 City Council candidate, Russell has run on a platform of revitalizing neighborhoods, strengthening neighborhood associations, and promoting economic development.
