The Duck River Dam is a proposed dam on the Duck River, which would create a 640-acre reservoir for the City of Cullman. The $70 million project would be designed jointly by the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers and CH2MHill. It would have a 6 mile long pipeline capable of supplying 32 million gallons of water per day to the city, supplementing the existing Lake Catoma reservoir.
