Kid One Transport is a non-profit transit service that provides transportation for children and expectant mothers for health care appointments in thirty counties of north and central Alabama. The service was founded in 1997 by Hoover Firefighter Russell Jackson. It operates 14 vehicles and is headquartered at 3535 7th Court South in Birmingham. Karen Peterlin is the president and CEO.
