The Bivens Chapel Cemetery was established sometime before 1836. It was added to the Alabama HIstorical Commission's Register of landmarks and heritage on December 19, 1991.
Notable Burials
- Martha A. Bivens - Wife of Col. Robert Bivens and daughter of John Aikins and Ann Aikins. Born 1806 and died September 15, 1836.
- William Spear - Revolutionary War veteren
Decoration Day
The second Sunday in May is the cemetery's annual "Decoration Day"
