Blazer Express is a planned bus transit system for the UAB campus. The system, which is set to go into service on January 1, 2014, will operate with a fleet of 12 buses.
In a naming contest, employee Anita Clemon's entry was selected as the prizewinner from 55 suggestions for "Blazer Express".
