The Greater Birmingham Area Educational Television Commission was an organization which provided programming for Alabama Public Television's WBIQ-TV, Channel 10, when it first went on the air in 1955.
Evelyn Walker directed the project as a whole. Three Birmingham City Schools faculty members produced the original line-up of three types of programming.
