Joseph Yule III, known as Mickey Rooney Jr (born July 3, 1945 in Birmingham; died July 16, 2022 in Glendale, California) was an actor, musician and television producer.
Rooney was the oldest son of actor Mickey Rooney and his second wife, the former "Miss Birmingham" Betty Jane Rase. He and his younger brother, Tim were tapped as backup Mouseketeers on the original "The Mickey Mouse Club" television series in 1955. He landed his first film role in "Hot Rods to Hell" (1967) and also appeared in "Honeysuckle Rose" and the telefilm "Beyond the Bermuda Triangle".
