The Calera Downtown Historic District consists of two blocks of U.S. Highway 31 around the junction of Alabama Highway 25 in downtown Calera which contains 33 buildings constructed during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The district was added to the Alabama Register of Landmarks & Heritage on June 24, 2004 and to the National Register of Historic Places on March 29, 2006
