Remus (born December 22, 2011) is a black-footed cat (Felis nigripes) born at the Birmingham Zoo. He has a twin brother named Romulus.
Black-footed cats are native to Africa, where they are that continent's smallest wild cats. Their English name comes from their black-soled feet.
