Charles Gordon, Jr (born c. 1962) is the Chief of the Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service, appointed by Mayor William Bell to succeed Ivor Brooks on September 3, 2014.
Gordon joined the department on January 3, 1989 and was assigned to Station No. 13 in North Birmingham. He was promoted to Battalion Chief in 2000 and to Assistant Chief in November 2012.
