Horizons School is a skills-teaching center for young adults with disabilities. It is located at 2018 15th Avenue South in a building which opened on March 16, 2006.

In March 2008 Horizons School purchased a 14,400 square-foot building at 1401 Richard Arrington, Jr Boulevard South for $1 million. The school plans to demolish the existing building and construct a new 5-6 story apartment building on the site for use by full-time students. Currently, students reside at University Place Apartments.
