David G. Nathan (born c. 1952 in Bronx, New York) is an assistant chief for the Birmingham Fire & Rescue Service. He joined the department in 1981.
In 2006 Nathan was diagnosed with multiple myeloma. He was hospitalized in late 2008 for bone-marrow removal and stem cell therapy.
