Stuart Peaslee Whitehurst (born c. 1961) is an auctioneer and appraiser of rare books and manuscripts. He is a vice-president and director of Skinner Inc., a noted Boston, Massachusetts auction house and is one of the appraisers regularly appearing on the Antiques Roadshow television program.
Whitehurst is the son of Walter and Patricia Whitehurst. He attended Highlands Day School and is a 1979 graduate of Indian Springs School. He went on to study at the Shrewsbury School in Shropshire, England and the University of Virginia. His areas of expertise include Latin American paintings and manuscripts and English, European and Chinese decorative arts from the 18th century on.
Whitehurst married the former Susan Carroll of Toronto, Canada in 1987.
