The Monday Morning Quarterback Club Tower is located at 601 19th Street South in the UAB Medical Center. It was built in 1977 and originally hosted cardiovascular operating rooms and a cardiovascular-care unit that were used by members of the Cardiovascular Research and Training Center.
History
- On August 1, 1974 a groundbreaking ceremony was held for the Quarterback Tower.
- On July 18, 1977 the Quarterback Tower was dedicated as Phase I of the Alabama Heart Hospital.
