The 2015 Shelby County Airport plane crash was a fatal aviation accident that occurred near the Shelby County Airport on August 27, 2015.

The single-engine Cirrus SR22 aircraft had departed earlier from Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport. Pilot John Wyatt (owner of Wyatt General Contractor) was reportedly practicing "touch and go" approaches before the accident, which occurred at approximately 7:00 PM. The plane crashed in a field south of the airstrip and behind the Central State Bank office during its approach and was immediately consumed by fire.
