Accelerate Wind is a company developing wind turbines customized to take advantage of accelerated winds at the roof edges of commercial buildings and designed to be installed by solar contractors as part of a broad system for harnessing renewable energy.

The company was founded in 2017 by Erika Boeing in St Louis, Missouri and has 6 employees. As of 2022 it is progressing from the prototype stage, under testing in Spanish Fork, Utah, to real-world pilot projects.

After participating in the Techstars Alabama EnergyTech Accelerator and receiving a grant from Innovate Alabama in 2022, the company decided to relocate its US headquarters offices to Birmingham's Hardware Park.
