The South Coastal District is the regional unit of the Wesleyan Church encompassing all of Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi. The district offices are in Buford, Georgia. The district superintendent is Tim Fox. The Wesleyan Church was formed in 1968 by the merger of the Pilgrim Holiness Church and the Wesleyan Methodist Church.
As of May 2023, there were three district congregations in the Tuscaloosa area, but the only one in the Birmingham area was
