Slim & Husky’s Pizza Beeria is a Nashville, Tennessee-based chain of pizzerias founded in 2017 by former Tennessee State University football teammates Clint Gray, E.J. Reed, and Derrick Moore.
With an interest in expanding the founders reached out to another teammate, Birmingham real estate agent Justin Ridgeway in 2018. After considering several locations, the chain purchased a former Burger King at 4013 Messer Airport Highway in October 2021, planning to demolish the long-vacant structure and build a new restaurant in its place.
