- This article is about the 2020s festival. For the annual festival held from 2000 to 2003, see Furnace Fest (2000s).
Furnace Fest is a three-day punk/hardcore/metal music festival held each September at Sloss Furnaces. The event is organized and promoted by Johnny Grimes in partnership Nashville record executive Chad Johnson, who promoted the earlier incarnation. Ryan Luther of Nashville and Mike Ziemer of Dallas, Texas were also involved in the production.
The reinstituted festival, which features numerous Christian hardcore bands alongside secular artists, was originally scheduled for September 18–20, 2020, but then postponed to early 2021. Due to the 2020 Coronavirus pandemic it was postponed again, initially to May 14–16, and then to September.
