Smithwick Machine was a rock band led by guitarist and vocalist Sam Smithwick and guitarist Johnny Fuller from 1992 to 2002. The group began playing together as the Smithwick Blues Machine for a one-off gig. When they continued to work together, they shortened the name.

Other members of the band included guitarist Johnny Blade, bassists Patrick McCown, Jim Taylor, Duquette Johnston, and Jason Fondren and drummers Jamie Rogan, Carl Rouse, Scott Carl, Darin Gray, Tom Bagby and Robbie Knievel.

The group appeared at City Stages in 1998 and 2001.
