Village Green Shopping Center, originally Village Green Shopping Square, is a shopping center located on Main Street in Gardendale that was constructed in 1971–1972.
In 1977 the U.S. Postal Service awarded a contract to Village Green managing partner Mitchell Joseph to lease a newly-constructed 3,260 square-foot post office building at the center for 10 years. The new building was completed in 1978 and was used until a new post office was built in 2000.
