Incorporation
I have found the following in the March 30, 1892 Weekly Age-Herald under "Local News" (p. 4, col. 3):
- Mr. Theodore Smith has incorporated the town of Rosedale, in Shades Valley, just over the mountain, from the head of Twentieth Street. Quite a number of people are living in that flourishing village.
Because the statement mentions Smith and not any government body, I don't think it refers to a government incorporation but rather a business one. --Lkseitz 08:01, 28 March 2014 (PDT)
