Ovenbird is a planned 60-seat restaurant located next to Charlie Thigpen's Garden Gallery in Pepper Place. The European and South American-inspired grill is owned and operated by Chris Hastings of Hot and Hot Fish Club.

The restaurant is named for a small migratory species honored as the national bird of both Uruguay and the Argentina. The kitchen will feature a wood-fired oven and grill to make use of South American cooking techniques. Diners will have a choice of small-plate specialties based around seasonal, regional produce.
