Jack Royer is the co-anchor, with Sherri Jackson, of the evening news programs on WIAT 42.

Royer is the son of broadcaster Mike Royer and his wife, the former Amy Pinion. He graduated from the University of Alabama and began his career reporting on high school football games on radio. He joined WIAT as a Tuscaloosa-based reporter in 2017 and moved to the anchor desk in July 2018.
