Vanable Moody (born in Atlanta, Georgia) is a Christian minister and author, and the founder and senior pastor of The Worship Center Christian Church on Derby Parkway in Birmingham.

Moody graduated from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana and earned a doctoral degree from the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta. He has also studied at Harvard University's Summer Leadership Institute and Oxford University. He is pursuing a second doctorate from Biola University in La Mirada, California.

Moody founded The Worship Center Christian Church at his home in March 2006. Since then the congregation has met at L. R. Hall Auditorium and Ephesus Seventh Day Adventist Church, then to Parkway East before moving to its present location in 2013.

Moody is the author of three books on Christian relationships and regularly contributes columns to periodicals, including The Christian Post, Essence, Investors's Business Daily, Forbes, and Maxim. He has worked as a trainer for EQUIP leadership organization and as a "Core Team Oz" expert for the Dr Oz Show on ABC. He has served on the board of Joel Osteen's Champions Network and is currently an assistant to Kenneth Ulmer, presiding bishop of the Macedonia International Bible Fellowship network.

Moody participated in a meeting at the White House with Jared Kushner to express support for the "First Step Act" which would provide early release incentives for persons in federal prisons to participate in rehabilitation programs. Moody's presence at the meeting, which was joined by President Trump, was criticized by some as an endorsement of the administration.

Moody and his wife Ty have two children, Eden and Ethan.
