This article is about the businessman. For the singer/songwriter, see Michael Warren. William Michael "Mike" Warren (born 1947) was CEO of Energen for 22 years and CEO of Children's Hospital from 2008 to 2021.

Warren was an attorney with Bradley, Arant, Rose & White until 1983 when he left to become general counsel for Alagasco. A year later he was named president of Alagasco, and then in 1997 became CEO of its parent corporation, Energen, where he also served as chairman of the board.

He announced his retirement in 2007, in keeping with the tradition of Energen executives retiring at age 60. Though he initially turned down an invitation to pursue the CEO position at Children's Hospital, he agreed to be considered after the board interviewed several other candidates and returned to him. He took over in 2008 from Jim Dearth, who had retired the previous year.

Warren retired from Children's Hospital in June 2021 and was succeeded by Tom Shufflebarger.

In 2007 Warren was given the Lifetime Achievement Award from Operation New Birmingham. He was inducted into the Alabama Business Hall of Fame in 2015 and the Birmingham Business Hall of Fame in 2016.
