Brian Burks is an artist, music promoter, and founder of the Birmingham Punk Rock Art Show. He markets his art, which is sold at Birmingham Oddities and by commission, under the "Art By Burx" brand.

Burks grew up in Arizona and was heavily influenced by comic books and punk rock.

His wife, Hannah is a partner in his promotions. They have one daughter.
