This is a List of Birmingham homicides in 2024. It includes homicide cases occurring within the city limits during the calendar year. Note that a "homicide" refers to the cause of death as determined by a medical examiner, not to the commission of the crime of murder as charged by police and prosecutors.

- January 6: Ledaron Pope, 43, died at a home on the 8400 block of 7th Avenue South in South East Lake. A vehicle was taken and is sought. No arrest. (report)
- January 10: Mia Nickson, 21, was found shot to death on her driveway on the 800 block of Green Crest Turn in Oak Ridge Park. No arrest. (report)
