- May: The burned body of Camella July, 22, of Center Point was found near Slope Drive in the Mulga area. Reginald Davis was convicted in 2007 of intentional murder and sentenced to life. [2]
Fairfield
- July 28: George Lewis, Jr, was closing the King George Bar on 3rd Avenue West for the night when he was allegedly shot and killed by Steven Phillips. [3]
