Avondale Bricks

The Avondale Bricks Building is a one-story retail row located at 130 41st Street South in downtown Avondale. The building was owned for a long time by Franks Brothers Cabinet Works. It was sold in 2006 and was renovated into three 1,650- and two 3,300-squar- foot office condominiums by Clint Choate of Birmingham and David and Laura Kessler of Gadsden. Due to the 2008 economic downturn, the owners attempted to lure potential occupants by offering "lease to own" options.
