The Education Corporation of America is a Birmingham-based company that operates Virginia College, Virginia College Online, Culinard, and the Golf Academy of America. The company was founded in 1999 by administrators of Virginia College and the former Phillips Junior College of Birmingham. Its headquarters office is located at 3660 Grandview Parkway.
