Dorothy "Dot" Davidson is a member of the Bessemer City Council and a candidate for Mayor of Bessemer in the 2010 Bessemer municipal election. During the campaign, she distributed fliers claiming an endorsement from Alabama Crimson Tide football coach Nick Saban and included a digitally-altered photograph. University officials deny that any endorsement was made.
