The 1953 Alabama State Fair was a State Fair open at the Alabama State Fairgrounds between October 5 and 10, 1953.

The fair featured the "World Famous Sky Wheels" double Ferris wheel, along with appearances by Miss America 1954 Evelyn Margaret Ay crowning the Maid of Cotton, Western movie stars, "Broadway Under the Sky" and "Hollywood on Ice". A special exhibit showcased photographs and artifacts from the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II that Summer.
