The 2002 City Stages was the 14th annual edition of "Birmingham's World-Class Music Festival".
This years festival, which was beset by cold, windy wet weather for much of the weekend, was the second to be held in May.

The 2002 official poster was designed by New Orleans artist Frenchy.
