The 2006 North America Cup, took place June 16-18, 2006 at the Lakeshore Foundation. Paralympic teams representing the United States, New Zealand, Great Britain and Canada competed in Wheelchair Rugby and Men's Wheelchair Basketball.
The Rugby championship was won handily by the United States team. They're toughest challenge came against Great Britain in their second game which was won 39-38 in triple overtime. When they met again in the final, the United States won 31-26.
In pool play, the U. S. Basketball team lost two of three matches and will match up against Great Britain for a chance to play Canada for the championship.
