The 2009 Miles College Golden Bears football season was the 2nd for head coach Billy Joe. The Golden Bears finished the season 4-7, coming off the 2008 season 2-8. The Golden Bears play their NCAA Division II home games at Albert J. Sloan-Alumni Stadium in Fairfield, and at Legion Field in Birmingham.

- August 29: Defeated Lane College 35-18 at Albert J. Sloan-Alumni Stadium.
- September 6: Defeated Tuskegee University 34-0 at Legion Field.
- September 12: Lost to Benedict College 40-31 in Columbia, South Carolina.
- September 19: Lost to Samford University 31-12 at Seibert Stadium in Homewood.
- September 26: Defeated Clark Atlanta University 6-0 in Atlanta.
- October 3: Lost to Fort Valley State 36-12 at Albert J. Sloan-Alumni Stadium.
- October 10: Lost to Albany State University 31-7 at Albert J. Sloan-Alumni Stadium.
- October 17: Lost to Stillman College 20-0 in Tuscaloosa.
