2009 Samford Bulldogs football

The 2009 Samford Bulldogs are playing their 2nd season of football in the Southern Conference, in NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (formerly known as I-AA). Coach Pat Sullivan led the Bulldogs to a 6-5 2008 season, his 2nd as head coach.

Schedule and results (1-1)

• September 5: Lost to Central Florida 28-24 in Orlando, Florida. Samford led 24-21 going into the 4th quarter.
• September 12: Defeated Jacksonville State at Seibert Stadium.
