The 2010 statewide general election is scheduled for on November 3, 2010, matching the winners of the Democratic and Republican primaries held the previous June.

Almost 1.5 million voters appeared at the polls across the state. Of those, 710,562 (48%) voted "straight ticket" (357,525 for Democrats and 353,037 for Republicans)
