The 2023 Talladega County plane crash was a non-fatal aviation accident that occurred at 5:20 PM on Saturday January 28, 2023 in a field near U.S. Highway 280 and Meadow Farm Lane, between Childersburg and Sylacauga in Talladega County.
The pilot of the twin-engine plane that crashed into the field was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The Childersburg Fire and Rescue Department, Talladega County Sheriff's Office, and Alabama Law Enforcement Agency's Highway Patrol division responded to the scene. The Federal Aviation Administration will investigate the incident.
