The Air Industrial Center is a 50-acre industrial and warehousing site just south of the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport. It is bounded by 50th Street North on the east and Village Creek and I-59/20 to the south and west.
In December 2009 the Birmingham Airport Authority purchased 25 acres of the site for future expansion of its cargo and industrial operations.
