The America's Best Value Inn & Suites is a budget motel located at 260 Oxmoor Road near I-65 in Homewood. The building dates to the 1970s and was once the Admiral Benbow Inn.

In March 2014, the City of Homewood denied the motel a business license, citing over 150 police calls for various offenses including a murder and prostitution over the 32-month period since June 2011. The owners, brothers Sean and Mike Patel, sued the city on March 21, and in May the owners and the city came to terms in a settlement agreement where the motel could continue to operate until July 31, at which time the motel would be sold to another party or would be closed. As the deadline loomed, the owners asked for a year's extension to comply but on July 28 the Homewood City Council denied that request.
