Babypalooza (incorporated as Lifestages Media) is an online marketing, educational and event production business founded in 2005 by Cecilia Pearson. Her initial plan was to launch local magazines with a focus on life changes, beginning with pregnancy. Her Birmingham Baby magazine proved to be a full-time endeavor, and evolved into Babypalooza.
The first Babypalooza expo was held at Brookwood Village in 2006. The event quickly grew into a regional tour with events in 12 cities in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Texas, and Tennessee. The event went "virtual" during the COVID-19 pandemic and returned to in-person in 2023 with stops in Birmingham; Mobile; Huntsville; Nashville, Tennessee; and Phoenix, Arizona.
The company, which has offices in Birmingham's Innovation Depot, has participated in the incubator's Velocity Accelerator program. In 2021 Babypalooza finished second in the national New Voices + Target Accelerators Pitch Competition.
