The two dining rooms were decorated in dusty rose and gold colors, while the private banquet room featured blue and white paneling with Oriental-themed murals and Indian brass chandeliers. Barber's Cafeteria was a small restaurant chain with locations at Eastwood Mall and the Daniel Building in Birmingham, and another in Florence.

The first cafeteria, owned by former Morrison's executive A. D. Barber along with V. O. Roberts and J. C. Roberts, opened on the western end of Eastwood Mall on Monday, December 20, 1965.

V. O. Roberts served as manager for the 450-seat restaurant. Two dining rooms were decorated in dusty rose and gold colors, while the private banquet room featured blue and white paneling with Oriental-themed murals and Indian brass chandeliers.

The Birmingham Dinner Theatre began performing at that location on June 13, 1969. The downtown location opened in January 1971.

The Eastwood Mall location was taken over by rival Britling Cafeteria. The Florence location, managed by Mildred Hall, moved to Southgate Mall in Muscle Shoals in 1981.
