Bernard Buggs

Bernard C. Buggs, Jr (born c. 1971) is a fire fighter, real estate agent, and R&B singer.

Buggs, son of a former Newark, New Jersey fire fighter, grew up in Acipco and sang in the choir at First Baptist Church Acipco. He was the drum major for Phillips High School and graduated in 1988. He worked at Mrs Winner's on Clairmont Avenue before joining the Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service.

Buggs, nicknamed "Bern Love", is an avid R&B performer and has recorded one 4-track CD of songs penned by Alvin "Cornbread" Garrett, entitled "The Demonstration" (2011)
