Billy Charles Martin (born 1925 in Acmar; died April 15, 2008) was the founder and president of Martin Advertising.

Martin was born in the St Clair County mining community of Acmar and completed high school at Birmingham's Phillips High School. He went on to the University of Alabama and then worked for the Birmingham News before founding Martin & Associates in 1959.

That company grew to become Martin, White & Mickwee before Martin founded a new firm, Martin Advertising, which handles local, regional and national media campaigns for groups of GM auto dealers.

Martin died in 2007 and was survived by his wife, Mary Ann, three children (David, Nanci and Pam), seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was inducted into the Birmingham Business Hall of Fame in 2021.
