The Birmingham Business Journal is a weekly newspaper highlighting business news in the Birmingham area. The paper was launched by a group of local businessmen in 1984, with Tina Verciglio-Sava as publisher. It was sold in 1999 to American City Business Journals, which is owned, in turn, by Advance Publications.

The paper's local offices are located at 2140 11th Avenue South. Joel Welker, former advertising director for the Atlanta Business Chronicle is the paper's publisher.
