Birmingham Fire Station No. 15 is located at the intersection of Jefferson Avenue Southwest and Dennison Avenue Southwest. It serves the areas including most of West End and near Elmwood Cemetery.
The original Station No. 15 was located at 105 13th Street Southwest. That building later became the gymnasium for Hemphill Elementary School. A second building was constructed in 1928 at 1345 Steiner Avenue Southwest near Woodward Park. That two-story beige brick building currently houses the offices of Partners in Neighborhood Growth.
