The Birmingham Women's Community Based Facility and Community Work Center, better known as Birmingham Work Release, is a minimum custody facility for female inmates participating in work-release programs. The center, which opened in 1973 at 1215 25th Street North in Druid Hills, is operated by the Alabama Department of Corrections. The current warden is Chadwick Crabtree.

In addition to dormitory-style living areas housing up to 312 women, the center offers drug treatment counseling and aftercare as well as trauma stress management programs.
